Privacy

Vector is designed to minimise how much personal information is retained and where it is sent.

CV information

CV text, uploaded files, names, contact details and evidence answers must not be sent to general analytics or written to application logs. PDF and DOCX uploads are sent to the configured document-security provider for a malware check before Vector extracts their text. An upload is rejected when that check fails or is unavailable.

AI-assisted review

When you select the more accurate review option, the CV text needed for extraction and review is processed by OpenAI through Vector's server-side integration. Provider storage is disabled in each request. Generated suggestions remain unconfirmed until you accept or edit them.

Retention and deletion

The production retention schedule and data-controller contact must be supplied before launch. The recommended starting policy is 24 hours for raw uploads and 30 days for guest drafts.

Your choices

You can choose not to use the OpenAI-assisted review, reject suggestions, delete drafts and request deletion or export through the account privacy area when account services are configured.
