Accessibility

We aim to make Vector usable with a keyboard, screen magnification and assistive technology, working towards WCAG 2.2 AA.

Using Vector

• Use Tab to move between controls and Enter or Space to activate them.
• Keyboard focus is highlighted so you can see which control is selected.
• Form fields have labels and pages use headings to help you navigate.
• Move up and move down controls offer an alternative to dragging CV sections.
• Text explains status and errors alongside any colour indicators.
• Motion is reduced when your device requests reduced motion.

Reading your CV

The CV preview keeps its A4 print layout. Use the editor's zoom controls to make it easier to read; at higher zoom levels you may need to scroll across the page.

If you cannot complete a task, contact Free Courses in England (opens in a new tab). Tell us which page or step caused difficulty, your browser and any assistive technology you use. You do not need to include your CV or personal details to describe an accessibility problem.
